The GlossoverĬolourPop Aphrodisiac Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a “soft beige brown in a matte finish.” It’s a muted, medium brown with subtle, warm undertones and a satiny sheen. It wore well for ten hours before fading slightly. Bonus had good color payoff that was buildable from semi-sheer to fully opaque (about two layers, depending on how heavy-handed you are). I also like using a stippling brush, which works just fine for my medium coloring with the medium to dark-hued shades and doesn’t feel like it takes forever to build by any means. If you need more intensity, tap the color into place and then lightly skim on top. For the easiest, quickest application, I’ve had the best luck applying with fingertips and merely skimming the side of the fingertip pad across the cheeks, which gives color and spreads it out well without disturbing base products. It tends to look, feel, and behave more like a powder blush when applied to the skin, as there is no slip, but it is blendable and diffuses easily across the skin. It is a cream-based blush that feels more like a kind of clay, as it will indent if you press it, and you can almost mold it into a shape, if desired, so it’s not as emollient or as wet as your typical cream blush. The Super Shock Cheek formula is supposed to offer buildable coverage that is most intense when applied with fingertips and sheerer when applied with a stippling or duo fiber brush. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side. Chanel Frivole (P, $45.00) is darker, powder. If it doesn’t suit me, I will definitely get this one again.ColourPop Bonus Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a “mid-tone true peach in a matte finish.” It’s a brightened pop of orange with warm, reddish undertones and a very fine gold micro-shimmer. Will I re-purchase: I want to try how Studio tech looks on me. I would highly recommend this for anyone who has oily skin and just wants a natural coverage/look. Verdict: I will give it :-* :-* :-* :-* I have taken one point becasue of the pump. I have to moisturise before using it since it may look dryin or cause flakiness. The MUA had also moisturised my skin before applying it.So i have never applied this foundation without moisturing my face.It doesn’t come with a pump so you have to buy it separately. The quantity is good since a very small amount of product is required and I thnk it will last me for a long time.Ĭons of of MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation. It is quite buildable.very few chance of lukin like a ghost….Even without a primer it stayed on for around 6 hours.I removed it after 6 hours so don’t know if it will stay after that.Doesn’t look cakey at all.It looks quite natural. Is very easy to apply.I am a beginner and apply it wth my fingers.Provides a nice matte finish which is best suited for my combination-oily skin.I have some blemishes after my pregnancy and it covers them too. Provides more coverage and a nice finish.Contains special skin-conditioning ingredients. Contains specially treated micronized pigments and soft-focus powders for a super-smooth look that helps minimize the appearance of imperfections. Applies smoothly, builds coverage quickly and easily. Comfortable and long-wearing: lasts for up to eight hours. Here is what MAC says about the product: A modern foundation that combines a natural matte finish and medium-buildable coverage with broad spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 15. MSF was looking a little shiny on my face and didn’t hav enuf coverage so I went ahead with Studio fix Fluid Foundation. As suggested by the makeup gurus at IMBB I chkd the shade out of the store light. The MUA tried MSF on one side and Studio fix fuild on the other. Well after reading the reviews I had decided that i want to go with MAC Studio tech or Mineralise skin finish.I entered the MAC store with these two names in my mind. They were out of stock of Studio tech so I cheked on MSF and studio fix fluid. As most of you must be aware I am a newbie in makeup and all I had used for foundation was Lakme.Īfter falling in lovveee with IMBB and reading tonness of reviews.I came to the conclusion that the base makeup should be the best…as Rati once told me “Even if you have to go to MARS to get your perfect base makeup go and buy it!!!” Thankfully I just had to travel from Surat to Mumbai.
